Jean Piaget's development stages, on about.com

Here is an about.com page on Jean Piaget's cognitive developmental stages in children. Psychologist Lawrence Kohlberg developed further on Piaget's stages. Piaget had 2 stages, Kohlberg further expanded into 6 stages.

About.com link on Jean Piaget's stages of development is here :

You can read a lot of ' related articles.'.

HOW I FOUND IT : I was reading ' Cosmic Uplink' . A Mukul Sharma's article. He mentions, Kohlberg's stages of development and Heinz' Dilemma. Net Searched Yahoo. Came upon this site.

Read in leisure . Very helpful.

urbandictionary.com / 4 slangns and modern word play s

I came across this very interesting web site today, that contains slang words, phrases, dialects , colloquies other phrases and words coined by modern day world !

http://www.urbandictionary.com/

It has ' word of the day', a la dictionary.com and also a subscription service where ' word of the day ' is emailed to your mail box. I subscried ! ( sigh ! u the sucker for free stuff).

HOW I CAME ACROSS THIS SITE : That is an interesting story. Today morning, I saw ' The Hindu' and no interesting editorials ( on pakistan / obama / af-pak, that is ).

So, on the way, I bought this ' Deccan Chronicle'. And opened the local section. Came across the words such as ' sex-ting' and ' flirt-exting' and wrote them on the piece of paper for further net search !!

When I ' googled' for this strange looking made up / coined words, I came across this site, urban dictionary dot com,

Thanks to Deccan Chronicle , which is trendier and more suited to young readers...............

2 good new websites for ' presentations'

These 2 good new web sites I came across for ' presentations'.

http://www.slideshare.net/

and

http://www.cleverpresentations.com/

HOW I CAME ACROSS THEM : ( :) @ serendipity ! ) :

I was reading this ' Fooled by Randomness' by Nassim Nicholas Taleb , presented to me by Gunen Saab.

He mentioned a subject called ' Ecological Rationality'. And I wrote it down this interesting subject phrase in the white paper and searched the net.

It first showed up, in the first page, this ' slide share.net'. and when I visited this slide share, then I came across this ' clever presentation dot com'.

Conclusion : It's good to net search some interesting phrases !

cosmicfingerprints.com & coffehousetheology.com

There is this person called Perry Marshall, who seems to have definite ideas about the origin of Cosmos, evolution, big bang, intelligent design , and God. He nuances the difference between a 'Pattern' ( which can be created by random events) and Code ( which requires a designer ! ).

I don't know how far I agree with this, prima facie. But here is his website.

http://www.cosmicfingerprints.com/

The same person posed some interesting questions about organized religion etc in this another web site.

http://www.coffeehousetheology.com/

Browse these web sites in leisure. Looks like he sends you some free articles of his, if you enter our name and email ID. Try that once.

How I found this on Net : I was reading ' Cosmic Uplink' article by Mr.Mukul Sharma. At the bottom of the article, apart from ' write your comments', there are 3 google advts ! Clicked on one of them. This is the result.

Jai Ho Google !
